First-time traveler to Tokyo looking for tips

hello lovely people.

young female solo traveler, going to Tokyo mid-March for roughly a week. staying around Chiyoda City. I’ve already planned quite a bit and have an ambitious bucket list lol but just wanted to ask if there are any absolute must-dos and if people have any advice. due to the Suica card shortage, I’ve ordered a welcome Suica to pick up when I get there, but still kind of nervous about transport. I will be relying on public transport as taxi prices seem ridiculous. I’m an appreciator of many things; culture, art, history, the new and the old. I like parks, museums, shopping, and good eats (I don’t eat meat though, any advice for getting around that?). I also want to see the sakura/cherry blossoms, and have planned some spots but if anyone has less touristy recs that would be helpful! I don’t drink so that isn’t relevant, however, I do plan on checking out golden gai and memory lane for the vibes and photos (photography is a hobby of mine). I also really would like to see parts of authentic Tokyo/japan as well, beyond all the touristy stuff. sorry this is sort of convoluted, but any advice is greatly appreciated!

thank you for all the responses and tips!

another note I forgot to mention in my original comment: I’ve been told Tokyo is relatively safe, but what are some things (besides the obvious i.e. not staying out late and trying to make it seem like I know where I’m going lol, not going to teahouses with people, etc etc) to bolster my safety?I’m not going to be able to blend due to my appearance so how can I mitigate the obvious tourist-ness?
