New startup business corporation – requirements for inviting a foreign worker?

I have an intention of opening a corporation for a new startup here in Japan. One of the employees (and partners) of this corporation is a foreign worker, and he will be essential to running the business.

The question that I have is related to inviting that foreign worker to Japan. Do the requirements differ depending on whether that worker holds some ownership of this corporation or whether they are simply an employee with zero ownership?

As for the requirements, I assume there may be requirements both in terms of the age of the corporation and its income

Let’s say a minimum 2,400,000 yen salary is guaranteed to the foreign worker by this new corporation, would this corporation need to have profits of a particular minimum amount for an X number of years prior to being eligible to sponsoring a work visa? And is there a basic age requirement for the corporation, or will a brand new corporation with cash in the bank account eligible for sponsoring a work visa?

Thanks!
