Hi all. I just need some confirmation about NOT needing to transfer/ get off the train at Otsuki station.
We will be departing from Shinjuku and need to get off a Mt. Fuji Station (AKA Fujisan Station) and will be reserving the tickets online via the JR East website ([https://www.eki-net.com/en/jreast-train-reservation/Top/Index](https://www.eki-net.com/en/jreast-train-reservation/reserve/wb/RouteSearchConditionInputByLine/Index)) when the proper time comes. I just need confirmation that I do NOT have to get off the car as long as I reserve seats between cars 1 – 3, correct?
A lot of videos I have watched stating they’re taking the Fuji Excursion line seem to always transfer off at Otsuki Station, or they jsut don’t even mention if you do or don’t have to transfer off, so it’s sort of confusing me. I saw this off the official website and it says NO TRANSFER needed ([https://www.jreast.co.jp/e/routemaps/pdf/information.pdf](https://www.jreast.co.jp/e/routemaps/pdf/information.pdf)) but it doesn’t say to book a specific car… so I just need some clarification.
So, if I book the Fuji Excursion tickets straight off the website and choose Car 3 (for example), then there will be no need to get off the train at any point until my final destination at Fujisan Station, correct?
