I stayed from middle of December 2022 to December 2023 in Japan on a WHV. In December 2023 I switched my visa to a student visa (without leaving Japan). Now (January 2024) I received a letter from my city, which gives everybody exempt from resident tax ¥70k. Now I’m wondering if I’m eligible to that or not. I didn’t work in the WHV period. Any help is appreciated
