Kosher Salt in Japan

The other day i thought about making pretzels but i couldn’t find coarse salt anywhere. Anyone has a recommendation for decently chunky salt? If i look on Amazon there area few hits but it’s hard to decide without seeing it in really life ^^;

Thanks

  1. Where in Japan are you? If you’re in Tokyo, I remember seeing some at Nissin world delicatessen

  2. Ordered mine off iHerb. Partly because the brand’s name: “David’s”; name of our eldest.

  3. 岩塩 (gan’en, rock salt) is available in every supermarket and probably most convenience stores.

    If it’s to big, pour some out onto your cutting board a whack it a few times until it’s the right size
