Wabi Sabi kanji

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask. I see different versions of the kanji for Wabi Sabi, some with two kanji, some with three. I just beginning to learn. Is this something that can easily be explained? I’m only asking about the kanji, not the meaning.

  1. As far as I understand, wabi sabi is written as わびさび more often than not. There are some different kanji that gets used, but I don’t think it’s common.

  2. Hmm … do you mean seeing it written as 侘寂 only vs the mazegaki 侘び寂び with the hiragana characters mixed in? Or are there totally different kanji that you’ve seen used to write it?
