Hello! It’s my second time travelling to japan but it’s my first time using the JR pass. I purchased the JR east-South Hokkaido pass, and had a few questions:
1. When I purchased the pass, I had to specify a pickup location (NRT terminal 1), but am I able to pick it up at another location? From [https://www.jreast.co.jp/e/ticketwindow/trainreservation.html](https://www.jreast.co.jp/e/ticketwindow/trainreservation.html) I was planning on picking up my pass at Ueno station near my hotel, and just completely dodge the Narita lineup.
2. If the above is not feasible, is it possible to pick up the pass at a machine, or is the only option to go to the JR travel center?
As well, if anyone has any recommendations in the Tohoku region (close to Sendai), that would be much appreciated!
