How to increase my chances of getting hired as a software engineer?

I’m currently a junior full stack in my home country, less than two years of exp. Working primarily with .net. My graduation is due to December 24.

I’m planning to go to Japan as a language student, and after reaching N3 start job hunting.

At least on Indeed Jp, it shows +1000 jobs when searching for “java”, around 500 for “C#” and 68 for “python”, all these in Tokyo, last 24h.
But, from what I’ve read on reddit, these numbers don’t match (specially python and c#).

Having in mind that my main goal is a sponsor for work visa, not high salaries, am I fine with .net? Should I study a different stack? If so, Java, or what do you recommend?
