I’d consider myself fluent in Japanese but when it comes to people’s names or place names I often find myself thinking what the fuck is that reading or what the hell is that kanji? So I’m trying to learn more advanced words and Japanese names and I thought a good way to do that would be to read more news in Japanese. I’m looking for a place where I can get current news with audio and a transcript of that audio. Here’s a couple of reasons why I want that in particular:
* I want to be able to add sentences with audio and text to my Anki decks
* I don’t want to manually type out a sentence from like a podcast; I just wanna copy-paste from a transcript
* I don’t want to have to look up readings when there are no Furigana for a word
Are there any news stations that have subtitles or any online newspapers that have audio files of their articles. Any help is much appreciated.
