Some info about us:
– We’ve already visited Japan multiple times in the past (mainly Osaka/Kyoto/Nagoya) so we’re quite familiar with the train system and getting around.
– We live in a relatively close timezone so jetlag won’t be an issue.
– Order of the locations we’re staying at: Shin-Okubo, Kawaguchiko (near Gekkouji Station), Ueno. As much as possible we wanted to be along the green line when in Tokyo.
– We initially wanted to do Yokohama on the same day as Kamakura, but I’m worried we’ll need to rush through everything. We replaced it with Akihabara instead.
tldr, some questions we have:
– Can we travel by bus from Kawaguchiko to Hakone early morning and still have time left over to enjoy Hakone? Or are we being too optimistic and we should just drop the idea and do another day in Kawaguchiko instead?
– If you had to choose between doing Oshino Hakkai/Lake Yamanaka vs. the area around Lake Kawaguchiko, which would you go for?
– Is the Fuji-Q Highland Afternoon Pass worth it? Even if the park closes at 6PM?
Would appreciate any help. Thank you so much! 🥳
