My sister and I both live in central Tokyo. I love to sketch, and she does embroidery. A few times a month, we go for lunch then spend a few hours at a park chatting and casually enjoying our hobbies.
However on cold or rainy days, spending the time outside isn’t an option. We usually end up going to a few different cafes back-to-back, but we often feel rushed or a nuisance if we stay more than an hour.
Any suggestions for places we can just chill for half a day without exorbitant fees (ideally free but realistically less than ¥2000) without being a nuisance to staff or other customers?
We’ve done a couple of co-working spaces (but if you have particular ones you’d like to suggest, I’d love to hear.) Libraries are out since we’d like to chat/converse. Cool vibes would be a plus since we’re basically treating it as a sister date!
