For Tokyo to Hakone (Gora area), can I just hop on whatever trains / local trains / ropeway etc that I want by tapping my Suica rather than buying an individual ticket? Thinking about the Freepass also. How does tapping with Suica work if I want to also upgrade to the Romancecar?
Hakone to Kyoto, I need to get myself to Odawara to grab a Shinkansen. So maintain flexibility is it okay to wait until the day of and just buy the Shinkansen ticket at odawara station? Will be travelling on a Tuesday late afternoon.
