Throwaway because my sister might know my original Reddit-Account =).
I am currently organizing a scavenger hunt through Kyoto for my sister’s birthday (she just moved to the city for work). For this, I am trying to come up with different riddles that connect to historical and cultural sights of the city. Since I am not located in Kyoto myself, I have to rely on any information I can find on the internet.
I was wondering if some of you could help me come up with a few more riddles. The main idea is that I give a few subtle hints to a place somewhere in the city and then my sister has to do the research, talk to people etc. to figure out which place I meant. An example would be:
“Go in search of a place that immediately betrays its intruders.” The solution for this would be the Nightingale Floor in Nijō Castle.
I want the riddles to be very hard (she really is crazy about good riddles), but solvable. If any of you had any ideas for a few more riddles, I would be so grateful!
