Hi all, understand from common sense that knowing the japanese language will be extremely useful when moving over. However, would just like to know if it is really a necessity as I’ve seen people online refer to what is known as an “English bubble” within Japan which means they only use mainly english and still get along by pretty well while residing there.
Not to be a blockhead but nowadays there are functions such as google translate/ AI translate etc which enhances cross language barriers so was thinking if it would be of impact.
