Itinerary Check 2 Weeks in March

My 2 weeks itinerary

Hello! It’s my third time in Japan (I have lived in Kobe for half a year and went again in 2017) but I m mostly guiding my friends who haven’t been there yet to the the main sites. Also some new things for me. I guess it s a bit packed but I love getting up early and doing stuff maybe u can rate/comment what I should leave out etc.

Starting on March 17th.

Day 1:
-Arriving at 4PM Haneda Airport
-Get the 7 day JR pass that activates on Day 8, Suica Card, use Ubigi for eSim
-Check-in Hotel
-Looky Looky and food near the hotel and go out in Shinjuku or go to bed if too tired

Day 2:
Tokyo West (Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya)
-Go to Otome Road, check out the stores
-Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building
-Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden
-Shibuya Crossing at night
-Shinjuku go to Deathmatch in Hell since we love metal bars (hotel is nearby)

Day 3:
Tokyo East (Akihabara, Ueno, Asakusa)
-Check out Akihabara stores
-Ueno Park
-Asakusa (Senso ji etc)
-Go out in the evening (PSY bar) or rest

Day 4:
-Yoyogi
-Harajuku
-Ghibli Museum (Tickets for 4pm-6pm)
-Pokémon Cafe (reservation around 8:30pm)

Day 5:
-Fish market in the early morning
-10:30 Team Borderless
-Afternoon go to Ramen Museum in Yokohama

Day 6:
-Go to Mt Fuji get picked up by the Ryokan hosts at 2PM
-Ryokan is in Oshino Hakkai explore the area there
-Get dinner at Ryokan and chill out at the onsen

Day 7:
-Mt Fuji day again, get breakfast at Ryokan
-Lake Kawaguchi
-Chureito Pagoda
-Dinner at Ryokan and chill out at the onsen

Day 8:
-Mt Fuji -> Kyoto
-Arrive in Kyoto around 3-4pm
-Machiya is close to Nijo castle have a cherry blossom picnic if the weather permits it
-Evening check out Gion or rest at the Machiya

Day 9:
-Get up really early (5AM or so) for Fushimi Inari
-Walk through Higashiyama district
-Lunch at Nishiki Market
-Yasaka jinja etc
-Philosophers path and Ginkakuji
-Go to bed early for next day

Day 10:
-Get up early for Arashiyama
-after bamboo grove, monkey park (opens at 9AM) walk Ryoanji Temple, Kinkakuji
-Afternoon trip to Uji

Day 11:
-early Shinkansen for Hiroshima
-Leave luggage at hotel and go right to Miyajima
-Pet the Shika (since we didn’t go to Nara)
-When done stroll through hiroshima eat some okonomiyaki etc

Day 12:
-Shinkansen at noon to Osaka
-Check out Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi
-Go out Rock Rock Osaka

Day 13:
-Osaka-jo
-Take train to Himeji and check out the castle etc
-Take the train to kobe go through the streets and cry u don’t live there anymore, also eat kobe beef (or do that in osaka)
-Go back to Osaka and chill or go out

Day 14:
-Take Shinkansen back to Tokyo early
-Decide spontaneously what to do. if there was no time for some stuff on Tokyo check it out now or do a (half) day trip to kamakura ?

Day 15:
-Check out the imperial palace it should be open on that day
-Indulge some late shopping (Nakano broadway) and continue until the luggage bursts. Go to the airport around 4-5PM and leave via Haneda
