Hi everyone,
I’ll be staying in Kanazawa for 3 days, 2 nights before heading to Tokyo, and I was thinking of spending the middle day in Takayama for a day trip. I was thinking of taking a bus there in the morning and leaving on the Hida limited express back to Toyama then Kanazawa in the late afternoon. I sort of realize that most trains don’t run that late back to Kanazawa, and I would have to get up early for a bus, but is this doable, or would you advise against it? Also if you have any tips on how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it- thank you!
