Hello! I’m in the process of applying to a language school in Japan. The school I’m applying to is called Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin. For some context about me, I’ve spent the past year studying Japanese at a local community college (among other classes). I was just wondering if it’s pretty competitive to get into these language schools, as well as if they require me to report my transcripts from my schools. My high school GPA is pretty good, but my community college GPA is definitely nothing to be proud of due to some external reasons. If they require me to provide transcripts, I’m wondering if it’s just better to apply without listing my college as part of my academic history and only providing transcripts to high school? Thanks!
