Osaka 9 day Itinerary for Family of Five. Please advise.

We will be travelling in a group of five (my in-laws, my wife and my 5yr old girl). Please kindly take a look at the itenary we planned so far. Due to having in-laws and young child, we decided to just live out the same airbnb in Osaka for the whole trip, instead of dragging luggages to different cities. Everything outside Osaka is a day-trip.

How crowded is mid of March? Many restaurants are quite small, and a table of five for walk in may be difficult I assume? Should I rely more on chain restaurant, famiresu, and such (I love famiresu btw)

My wife and I spent a night on Mt. Koya 7 years ago when we visited, and we loved it, so this time we want to take her mother (very religious buddhist) to Koya as well, but due to budget constraint and hassle of changing lodges, we decided for a one day trip. Is a one day trip to Mt. Koya do-able?

Any suggestions for must see or must eat, or anything on the list not recommended considering we have young and old, highly appreciate!
