Advice on visiting Okinawa during Typhoon (Cyclone) Mawar

Our family of four is currently scheduled to visit family on Okinawa June 2-5 (side trip from Tokyo visit), which is when the downgraded Mawar is predicted to be in the area. For those with cyclone experience, will this prove to be a waste of time (eg. everything is closed) or will we be able to probably find things to do that are indoors? We’re not complainers, but I would prefer to avoid a situation where we just end up sitting in a hotel room for 3 days with nothing to do.

I know the storm’s track can change, most of our stuff is refundable before around May 31. Thanks.

Edit: I agree that it’s unlikely the fights would go through anyway (our arrival is within an hour of closest approach to Naha). I’m just going to cancel it all and take the family to Chiba instead for those days. Thanks for everyone’s advice.
