I’m afraid that Munamiza is the only place to see kabuki in Kyoto. You can enjoy in some theaters in Osaka or Tokyo.

I feel like Kabuki is a bit more Edo/Tokyo culture. Kyoto is more of a Kyogen/Noh sort of town

There are various free kyogen festivals during golden week, they are easier to appreciate than a long kabuki play.
