I’d like to know if there is anyone who have done this at Tokyo Tech or at any university while working full-time. I understand that full-time work is too demanding at conventional companies but I am also aware that there maybe some companies that allow their employees take graduate studies.
While this is almost certainly true for MBA, it is a different field than an MS in Engineering, so I’d like to know if it is possible, or sustainable.
Tuition may not be a problem if I can continue working regular hours. My plan is to apply for 2025 admissions.

a couple of former lab mates returned to do their PhDs part-time while working full-time at their current workplaces — I’m also guessing to the benefit of their employers.
it’s definitely possible; sustainable on the other hand, only you can answer that for yourself. consult with your workplace and potential advisor.
