So, I have been living in a university dorm for the last two years but this semester there seems to be too many exchange students coming from abroad, so there is the possibility that they wont renew my lease.
They will make this decision via raffle and will let me know whether I have to move out by march 4th. Then, I would need to vacate the room by march 18th.
I live around 2 hours away from Tokyo and I was planning to move in with my girlfriend into a new apartment by august, because by then, I would be pretty much done with all of my credits and wanted to have more opportunities to intern in my last year and a half of uni. Also, I’m just sick of living in the Inaka. Honestly, I don’t want to move twice in a single year due to all the costs that come with that and most of the places I’ve visited have a lease that is 2 years long at the very minimum, so I wouldn’t be able to move out by august as I was planning.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)
