I’ve tried searching for the answer online for days, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
I am preparing to do the Streamlined procedure and I’m quite tax illiterate.
I’m thinking of using MyExpatTaxes.
One section asks if I pay a pension or social security. I only pay the national pension/国民年金.
Since there is no relation to a company and there’s no account, do I include it or should I just say “no”? Is it subject to income taxes? I really don’t know much about it…just that it’s required by law and sucks money from my account monthly.
