I’m in Nakama chapter 9 (we are in a college class), the sensei is not a native speaker. I swear I’ve heard “子供時” without the “の”… however, the sensei is pretty sure that’s not correct. I was an ALT in Japan a few years back, so both of us are unsure if this is a colloquial contraction or not.
Is there a colloquial contraction here? This isn’t for correct grammar, this is just to settle my brain. 🙂 Thanks in advance. 🙂
