is it worth getting private Unemployment insurance?

I have a pretty decently paying good job which I like, but its not the worlds most stable job. I wouldnt bet my savings on that the company is still alive in a couple of years. In hedging for that – is it worth getting some kind of private unemployment insurance? **Where** (recommendations of websites insurance companies appreciated) to look for one and roughly what could I expect to get from it if shit hits the fan?

Anything less than 3 months of 300k per month wouldnt be worth it for me to even consider getting one.

Also is there some kind of minimum government insurance that everyone has if you’r fired/company bancrupts? Assuming I have PR, and I can stay in the country even if I wont have a job, would I be left starving in the streets or how does it work?

I tried reading a bit on 厚生労働省 but my japanese is not so good, neither is my attention span for reading such boring information in overly complex long format.
