Itinerary feedback

I’m going with my 2 boys (both 14) end March/early April for 10 days. I’m mainly in it for cherry blossom season and trying to balance culture with age appropriate fun things for my kids. One in particular has a bit of anxiety so I need to balance big days with some downtime.

Please let me know what you think of the plan or the hotel choices:

1. Odaiba – Unko Poop museum, Joypolis, TeamLab Planets, Seaside Park, Palette Town/Decks centres, Rainbow Bridge (staying at Hotel Monte Hermana near Tokyo Station)
2. Asakusa/Ueno – Skytree tower, Sumida river/park/cruise, Sensoji temple, Ueno Park / Zoo
3. Hakone day trip
4. Imperial Palace, then shinkansen to Kyoto staying at Dozen Ryokan & Cafe, Viator evening walking tour (Gion, Nishiki market, Yasaka, Pontocho)
5. Arashiyama bamboo forest, Kinkaku-ji Golden Pavilion, Fushimi inari shrine
6. Himeji Castle then onto Osaka staying at Aloft Osaka Dojima – Umeda Sky Building & Hep Five for Gudetama café, Dotonbori District
7. Universal Studios
8. Cup noodle museum, Osaka Castle, then back to Tokyo staying at Shibuya Tobu Hotel – Shibuya Sky rooftop at sunset, teddy bear hotpot restaurant
9. Shibuya / Harajuku / Shinjuku precincts for shopping and sightseeing
10. Gotokuji temple then free time until 850pm flight
