So my partner and I booked a 10 night stay at the Blossom Hibiya Tokyo for late March for our return leg back into Tokyo. The hotel requires you pay in advance, which we did many months prior as we were building the framework of our 5 week trip. The Blossoms proximity to nearby Ginza, Shimbashi Station and other Stations, as well as modernity and views assured us it would be quite a nice choice.
Now here comes the advice part.. now I know every hotel in the city has a few bad reviews that if you took seriously could put you off a stay. But the Blossom Hibiya, while having plenty of positive reviews has one rather consistent and quite off putting stand out negative trait, and the more I look the more concerned I’m becoming.
There is apparently throughout the hotel all the rooms have quite a bad unshakeable body odour smell.. all the rooms have it. Most reviews don’t mention it, but then there are a bunch of negative reviews that mention it in particular.
Has anyone stayed at the Blossom Hibiya Hotel? Can anyone confirm or deny the smell. I need it put to rest as it’s now my only anxiety before the trip, have I booked a long stay at a bad hotel?
