Hey all, I was stationed in Okinawa from 2017-2021 and have decided recently to try and find employment in Okinawa and stay there for the long run by any means necessary. Just wondering, is this a reasonable goal? Seems like a lot of american SOFA contractor jobs are looking for americans that are already located in Okinawa. I have an electrical, diesel maintenance and diving background and the jobs I’ve applied for have told me the same thing, they’re looking for people already in Okinawa. Maybe I’m wrong and have just had bad luck. Also, any leads on any positions and company’s that might be fitting for my background?
