Lately, i’ve heard that before doing anything in japan you’d need a welcome suica or atleast a pasmo to take the subways in the big cities. That got me thinking on the shinkansen lines that go from Tokyo, kyoto,osaka and etc… could i pay the Shinkansen tickets with a loaded suica/pasmo card?
