For vocabulary assisting my textbook I used Memrise over Anki for the sole reason that Memrise had fantastic mnemonics created from the community – you could scroll through other users’ vivid stories.
For some reason that is now gone from Memrise and the one thing they did better than others is gone. I am studying significantly worse with an anki deck without other peoples mnemonics. Is there a place to find mnemonics for vocabulary?

I never understood why Memrise removed that feature, especially since those mnemonics were a major part of their pitch when they started. AFAIK the closest there is now is the user-submitted kanji mnemonics on [kanji koohii](https://kanji.koohii.com/). From there it is typically only a small step to remembering actual vocab (at least the meaning).
