I’ll be leaving for Japan on April 4th with my wife and our 8-year-old daughter. It’s our first time in Japan. Would really appreciate any input from others on this forum.
We would like to check out sakura (I read that it will be blooming in Sendai while we are there).

* Higashi Chaya
* Samurai District
* Overnight in Kanazawa
**Day 5 – Osaka or Nara ???**
* Overnight in Kyoto
**Day 6 – Kyoto**
* Fushimi Inari
* Adashino Nenbutsuji Temple (secret spot of bamboo grove)
* Kyoto Imperial Palace
* Ryoanji Temple – best stone garden in Kyoto
* Overnight in Kyoto
**Day 7 – Kyoto**
* Kimono wearing
* Tea ceremony
* Ikebana/Flower arrangement
* overnight in Kyoto
**Day 8 – Tokyo**
* Travel to Tokyo
* Cooking Lessons – Vegetarian in Bentoya (We are vegetarian)
* Watch Kabuki/Sumo
* Explore Akihabara – land of electronic stores and anime
**Day 9 – Tokyo**
* Free day/Shopping??
* Flight back at 9:30pm
