災難バッグ / emergency bag for earthquake

Hello everyone!
I came to Japan last year and it seems like there has been a lot of earthquakes within these two months already. Both Ishikawa and near Chiba recently.

I’ve been delaying on getting the emergency bag but after Chiba, I finally did from Amazon. It was quite expensive but I don’t find money spending on my life/health not a waste. The bag has most of the things such as radio, first aid kit, glove, food, water…etc. I am going to buy more extra stuffs that was not included but any tips or ideas on what other items will be very useful?

Also, I’ve been thinking of buying walkie talkie and give one to my wife’s parent’s house (we live very close) just in case there is no signal. Has anyone who was in Japan long enough to experience the situation after the earthquake? How were you or other folks communicate outside of the main earthquake zone?

Hopefully nothing too intense or big happens anytime soon. Thanks.
PS. If you were going to get the bag from Amazon, get it now because I have to wait a month until it gets delivered. Seems like there is a big delay due to high demands.
