Running all around Tokyo?

Hi there,

I was wondering if you’d say Tokyo feels like a city where it’d be convenient to run around everywhere? For instance, running from district to district, on regular sidewalks, that may not be purely dedicated or mostly used for running (as opposed to only running on running routes/ parks/ riverside).

I’m used to using running as my main commuting approach, but I’m from Europe where traffic is limited, sidewalks are large, and crowds are thin in most areas. It’s also socially acceptable to run pretty much everywhere.

Would you say the same holds true for Tokyo? I reckon distances will be greater in Tokyo, that is not a problem for me.

Thanks in advance!
