What weather to expect from the North to the South in the last two weeks of May?

So I’ll be traveling across Japan from Sapporo in the North all the way down past Fukuoka in the south. We’ll be stopping in several cities along the way. I’m just wondering what weather we may need to be prepared for. What’s the coldest/ warmed temperatures we may experience on our trip?
