Ever since I moved to Japan, my hair has been unruly and the unhealthiest its ever been. I used to have long, 1A, naturally straight, shiny, thick, healthy hair. All I would need to do is air dry it and it would somehow always be perfect. Since I moved to Japan a year ago, my hair has completely changed. It’s incredibly frizzy ALL the time, somehow it’s got a wavy texture to it like a 1B/C, and it’s incredibly dull and dry.
I feel like I’ve tried every hair oil, leave in conditioner, shampoo, and protectant I can find. I even bought a filtered shower head to improve the water quality, just in case. Unless my hair is just soaked in hair oil and looks greasy af, it is in the constant state of being dry, dull, and crazy frizzy. Did this happen to anyone else once they moved to Japan? If so, any advice or products you like that helped?
