Itinerary Check! 18 Days, 8 on Land and 10 by Sea

Hi All! We have been planning for the last year and keep extending our trip, but I think we are finally set. We fly in to Tokyo and will visit a different city almost every other day. I am slightly worried we are being too ambitious, but we can’t stop adding things!

I know it is ambitious, but we figured we can hit the ground running every morning and have downtime on the trains. We added Kanazawa just recently because of some videos we saw on the area. We don’t have that one quite fleshed out yet, but are excited to see it. We don’t feel the need to see temple after temple so are basically picking one for each area and then will add more if we stumble across them. We have an excursion included on each port day of the cruise so will also see a lot of things that way as well.

I also have a quick question: my boyfriend was wondering how easy it would be to find a safety razor blade once in Japan? We don’t plan to check luggage so will need to pick one up once we land.

So, Reddit, are we crazy?

Edit: Added back in days to the table that were cut when posting.
