I’m in Japan for a few weeks and about to go on a side quest to visit a friend (teacher) in Okinawa. Ideally, I’d leave my large bag and a few loose items (winter coat, shoes, smaller shopping bag) in a locker at a train station convenient to Haneda and the hotel where I’m staying when I return, in Minato-ku near Shimbashi station.
The issue is that I need a locker that will let me leave things for 4 days. I’ve read that most are 3 days only but that some allow 4. Does anyone know what type of lockers I should be looking for or, hopefully, a location that has them?
Btw, I’m somewhat familiar with takkyubin services and have considered having the large bag sent onward to my next hotel in Tokyo but it’s the small items that are the rub…I’d have to buy a second bag and have two bags forwarded and I think a locker could be quite a bit cheaper…
