My problem is that I can’t remember meanings of grammar points that have different meanings based on the tense. The biggest culprits are よう(こと)になる(する) .
And especially with these points I don’t encounter them often enough to solidify my understanding and rote memorization doesn’t click either.
Are there any articles that *explain* the logic behind the meanings?
Kind of like when I stumbled upon an article about てくる/ていく recently and it put it really well as てくる being “towards the speaker, more subjective when metaphorical” and ていく being “away from the speaker, more objective when metaphorical”.
