I have to teach that next year. I use Lets Try for grades 3 and 4 and those textbooks are shite, so I have a bunch of supplemental activities, but I don’t want to overlap material. Although, of course, they will have to learn the same topics as grades 3 and 4 because what else can I teach absolute beginners?
I’m thinking of using the Genki English Program, because it’s got a bunch of activities, songs, lessons that don’t use textbooks. Can anyone recommend that?
I never taught kids that young. Anyone have any ideas on resources?
