Hi all,
I am traveling solo to Japan on April 6th, starting in Tokyo, and traveling to Fuji, Osaka, and Kyoto. Hoping to see some cherry blossoms (last time I checked I think full bloom will be around March 30th)! I’ll have 9 full days, jet lag won’t be a problem as I’m based in Southeast Asia. I’ve been to Tokyo for about a day on a layover so I’m excited to fully experience the country!
I’m trying to put together an itinerary that covers the key sights, architecture, food, and nightlife in the 9 days. Would love to get some early feedback as I continue to polish it, and recommendations are always welcome!
**Saturday, April 6 – Tokyo**
\- 8:00am arrival at Narita
\- Drop off luggage at hotel (TBC but likely APA Ryogoku Eki Tower)
\- Senso-ji Temple and Asakusa
\- Lunch
\- Check in to hotel
\- Shibuya Sky for Sunset
\- Tokyo Tower
\- Dinner at Roppongi
\- Shibuya Crossing, walk around Shibuya area
**Sunday, April 7 – Daytrip to Mount Fuji**
\- Early morning Shinkansen to Fujiyoshida
\- Sightseeing, including the key photospots such as Lake Yamanaka, Tenku-nu Torii, Honcho Street, Chureito Pagoda \*any recommendation for the best spots to take photos? Especially if I still get cherry blossoms!
\- Shinkansen back to Tokyo at night
\- Nightlife at Shinjuku

\- TeamLabs Borderless/Planets
\- Street karting
\- Tokyo Skytree
\- Nightlife at Ginza

\- Drop off luggage at hotel (TBD)
