I am in Kyoto for two days this year, from 3/31 to 4/1. I had been planning on going to see Miyako Odori on 4/1, but waited too long to buy tickets online and now they are all sold out for that day. Do people have recommendations for anything similar to Miyako Odori? Something that’s an introduction to traditional Japanese culture for a non Japanese speaker. I think Gion Corner might fulfill those requirements, but was wondering if people knew of any other performances.
