I’m looking for some advice about where to go and what to see when I go to Japan. I am traveling for about a month, from mid March to mid April.
I love the outdoors, I plan to try and go skiing up north, perhaps some scuba, climb Mt Fuji (I understand it is out of season and I’m looking for a proper mountaineering/ice climbing outfit). Anyone ever done any of the whitewater trips?
I have heard the blossoms are nice to see in Kyoto that time of year. Is there anything else I should check out while I’m in Kyoto, or up north in Hokkaido?
Just looking for some out of the way places that people enjoyed, found special, or would like to share! Thanks in advance for any help. I’m really looking forward to the trip.
