Experience with lCA International?

I hope this kind of question is okay here. I’m a parent, not a teacher, and am looking into international elementary schools for my child.

Does anyone here have any direct or indirect experience with [LCA International Elementary School](https://elementary.lca.ed.jp/)? It looks nice on paper and we had a school visit, but I feel like it’s always nice to hear directly from teachers working there.
Thanks in advance!

  1. Looks like a for profit bilingual school. Aslong as everyone seemed happy and the teachers were nice, its probably just as good as any other bilingual private school.

  2. The first thing you should do is ask to see the teachers’ qualifications. If none of them have degrees in the subject they are teaching, or at least a degree related to education, don’t enroll your kids there.

  3. I applied for a position at LCA several years ago (maybe around 15 years ago). I was basically hired on the spot. However, before formally accepting the job offer, I followed up via email with a few questions regarding salary, social/health insurance, benefits, etc. My email went unanswered and I never heard from them again despite the initial job offer. It was a long time ago, so things could be different now.
