Itinerary Check – 5 days in Tokyo

My fiance and I (30) will be in Japan from 5/1 – 5/15. Due to Golden Week, we’ll be trying to avoid the crowds leaving the city by staying in Tokyo for the first 5 days and leaving on 5/6 with JR Hokuriku Arch Pass. Not sure if that’ll work, but I guess we’ll see.

5/1

* Arrive NRT at 4:30PM
* Keisei Skyliner into Tokyo
* Dinner
* Tokyu Hands store for shopping

5/2

* Tsukiji Outer Market
* Lunch
* Teamlab Mori (before or after lunch)
* Hogoken Tokyo (Animal Rescue/Cafe)
* Dinner

5/3

* Studio Ghibli Museum – This day can be swapped with another depending on tickets (or not)
* Lunch
* Omotesando Hills, Nezu Museum/Garden
* Meiji Jingu Shrine
* Dinner

5/4

* Imperial Palace (10am tour) + East Garden
* Lunch
* Shibuya
* Hachiko, Scramble Square, Mega Don Quijote, Pokemon Center (not Pokemon fans, so can skip or replace)
* Dinner

5/5

* ~~Klook Day Tour or similar – Maybe some Mt Fuji/Hakone one~~
* Senso-Ji (closes 5pm)
* Lunch
* Kappabashi Dougu Street (Kitchenware)
* Kameido Tenjin Shrine (Wisterias)
* Dinner

5/6

* Leave Tokyo in morning towards Karuizawa

We don’t have much planned post dinners most days since we don’t like bars, but will aim for walking around in a park or similar. Also lot of shrines/temples in later part of trip, so only hitting what seems to be recommended most while in Tokyo.

Edit: Shifted around based on feedback. Should be hopefully ok amount of walking a day now.
