Are language schools a decent way to move to Japan?

I am really interested in attending a language school in Japan but I’m just wondering if it really is worth it. I’m 21 and don’t have a college degree, which I know limits my options of moving to Japan. I just want to know if I even have options.

I am also considering transferring to a college in my home state (I was in school out of state for a little over a year but hated it) that offers an exchange in Tokyo. But in all honesty I want to go sooner then later since I want to spend my youth in Japan and experience the alternative scene there. I feel like a language school would be good for that but then what? Would it be possible to get a job without a degree? I am just feeling lost and like I haven’t done anything with my life. Any advice or help is appreciated.
