In the early stages of planning our trip in late May/early June and I have our Kansai region planned out. As it stands we have 6 days in Osaka/Kyoto and 9 days in Tokyo. I think 9 days in Tokyo is a bit much and would like some advice for some other stuff to do for cheap in Osaka/Kyoto. I would like to do a day trip to Hiroshima but our budget is pretty tight ($1500 for 15 days) so if after figuring out the rest of the itinerary there’s about an extra $120 I will add a day in Osaka to go to Hiroshima. We are two college guys so we’re ok with a lot of walking.
