Househunting tips? / Recommendations for realtors who are used to working with foreigners?

Due to certain circumstances I’d like to be able to move within the month, but as a foreigner and a student it’s not quite straightforward. I have enough Japanese to navigate the big picture of describing what I need and want, but still not enough to do the whole process myself, hence the question:

Have you had any experience navigating fudosans yourself? Any tips for a firsttimer or perhaps real estate agents to recommend who don’t have to necessarily speak English but take kindly to foreigners who don’t have the deepest pockets? I’m hoping to land an 8万 monthly unit that is not too small within about an hour total commute to say, Shibuya, although I don’t mind lots of walking to the station.
