Sorry admins please delete if inappropriate. Does anyone here sponsor and pay salary to a full time domestic helper? It’s my first year employing one here as an expat.
1. Will I get to deduct her salary as an expense on my return? The Big 4 tax accountant didn’t have any question like this for me in their questionnaire but I’ll ask.
2. Completely lazy question but how should we go about her taxes? Do we need to take responsibility if she fails to file? Where do we even begin, to file her taxes? She doesn’t really have a clue but I assume she at least needs to pay the tax on minimum mandated monthly salary of 200,000?
