Sagamihara folks (or other Tokyo suburbs, esp. near a main station), relatively tolerable summers?

Greetings fellow expats, I’m an expat, expatting as one does, because I’d never call myself an immigrant, oh no. And while I immerse myself in the local culture of this foreign land, I’d *never, ever* slurp my noodles.

But now that I hopefully have your attention with in-jokes and controversies, I’d much appreciate your input as I take on the neverending quest of “where to live in/near Tokyo, 2024 edition”.

Do you live in an area where summer evenings are a little more tolerable than central areas of Tokyo, 23ku etc? I’d love to hear from you.

I’ve been doing lots of research looking at the available historical temperature data, but things can vary a lot even within a small area, and even a couple of degrees make a big difference when you factor in the humidity and day/night differences, so… thank you very much in advance.
