Hello! I am considering a move to Kumamoto. I understand that prices are generally cheaper there than in Kanto (where I currently live) but I was hoping to get some guidance. I am expecting to pay \~35,000 per month in rent, and I have a budget of 180k for the flight and to purchase new furniture. Are these numbers realistic? My current apartment came furnished, and all I needed to get was a new futon. However, it seems most places will require that I buy my own appliances, which I am scared will quickly eat up the budget. Any insight is much appreciated!
